Please do not compare Isuzus to Hyundais. The comparison is much more like Craftsman and Snap-On when you are talking toyota and isuzu. The isuzu will run forever just like a toyota assuming you take care of it. Both are great products.

You have to make some other descisions before you start looking for another truck in my opinion.

If you want power, well you are going to be hurtin in just about any Toyota (truck or SUV that is). You will be a bit better off in any isuzu than in any toy up until somewhere around 97.

If you can sacrifice power and only want two doors. I would say in a heart beat to go for a 1985-1989 4 runner. 4cyl though. I am not partial to that silly v6 that had problems up until 97.

If you want to offroad well then get something that doesnt have IFS. And only the 85 4runner/trucks and the Land cruisers fall under this category. Solid/Straight axle swaps are an investment of lots of time and money.

Make a few decisions about what you want first then decide. Power?? IFS (can you live with it?), Cargo room? 4 or 2 doors?? Then decide.
