Any one know how to test a knock sensor?
My dummy light came on and when I checked the code it said 52 (knock sensor). I pulled the EFI fuse to reset and then went for a drive and sure enough it came on again for the same reason. I checked the wire (wire was new a month ago) and it seems fine but the FSM has no information on checking a knock sensor that I can find. Im not really looking forward to changing the knock sensor but I guess it would give me a chance to check and adjust my valves after getting the heads and cams seated in. Any one have any ideas for testing it prior to pulling it apart?
