Ok Chief, what exactly makes the 20r engine in my celica any different any different than that in an early 80's pickup? If ya want to be fricken difficult, the damn EFI and Turbo came off an '87 4Runner.

146,000 1986 4x4 pickup extra cab 22R Timing gear on crankshaft just split in two!

well my 83' 22r has seen atleast 2 rebuilds and just broke 200k km's last month. Hoping to get many more

93 22re, 110,000 miles (uncorrected with 31's). New head(burnt valve) and Timing Set (I dunno wtf the PO did with the truck, but they were hard on the engine).
Running perfect now atleast.
