Is there a 300000 mile club? Yea man, I'm pretty sure Toy will send you a set of steak knives. I got a Yota cooler when I hit 200k Too bad I lost the battle at 260k

They actually sent me a 24k gold keychain w/Toyota emblem and a Gold pen! No sh**! I couldn't believe it! Oh yeah, I missed the 300,000 mile club by 3000 miles! All original mind you, never, ever, ever taken apart!!! True Story! Harry

204,200 miles and going strong. Clutch is original. The only thing done was the HG recall about 100k ago. I used Seafoam two weeks ago and it runs like new. I have been getting 20 mpg compared to 17 mpg before the seafoam and it no longer pings on the highway under load.

Had 329K on orig 3.0, Toyota replaced it when the headgaskets failed. The mechanics at my local dealership (who did the work)said it was the highest mileage they had ever seen with the orig headgaskets. Needless to say, im a lifelong Toyota driver.
(BTW, this is my 5th Toy 4x4 (1)87'pu,(1)82'pu,(2)84'pu,(1)86'4run)

Reciept says 105K on the first turbo motor. It must have been poorly cared for. Replaced with a toyota motor and runnin like a champ 125K later. What kills me is how long the drivetrain and suspension parts hold up to the test of time. I had to replace original parts cause the rubber rotted out, the parts were still fine!! Compare that to my brother's old s-10 that needed ball joints every 40K an engine every 100K, and new CV's every 50K!!! GO YOTA!!! -John

I think I'll drive down to Toyota in Torrance, CA and see what I can get!!!! Maybe just get a hand shake and an escort off the property by security.

1986 1-ton, 340,000 miles or so. Original timing chain. WHY???? Replace it! Unless you want your valves to be totally bent when the chain goes, I'd get it replaced 200,000 miles ago. I guess with a truck that old, if it breaks the timing chain, who cares, just get another truck! Impressive either way. I bought my truck with a broken timing chain at 205,000. Luckily it broke as the previous owner was trying to start it. Didn't do any valve damage. Mine now has 216,000. Kurt G.

I've got a 1988 Toyota 4x4 Longbed 22RE with 420,000 on the ticker. I know the original engine had been rebuilt once about 220k ago. I just finished dropping another 22RE in it 2 days ago that I rebuilt during the winter.
