If my recall memory is right, I think Marlin told me that the V-6 adapter and gear drive T-case is 1/2" longer. I know that I did not have to have any D-shaft work done when I put mine in 6-7 years ago!!!!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />
