Its getting hot, actually it IS hot outside and my A/C is not running. This weekend I'm starting a list of work on my truck and want to get the A/C running as well. I've shopped around for the compressor and this is what I have.....Dealership: $378 w/$20 core deposit...ACkits.com: $366...and the local All Import shop: $280 w/$40 core. Now the Q is do I stay w/a new OE, or should I go cheaper w/a reman. I know OE is better for certain things, but am I ok getting by this time with a reman unit? Oh, I will also be converting to R134a, most of the other parts I need cost the same just about anywhere. Any suggestions?
