Well Ron, you're close, but not quite there. the two front holes are for a brace that attaches between the seat and the floor, giving the seat a bit of a tilt for comfort. The rear three holes are for a piece of steel which bolts to the floor and the seat. On that thick (8 or 10 gauge?) is bolted the seal belts. At least that's the way it is in my 76 CJ7. The later models had the seat belts bolted to the side of the tub as the fold and tumble set up was not as sturdy and wouldn't hold as well in an accident I suppose. My set up is a bit of both as I am usind a fold and tumble seat that is bolted down as well. I'm not afraid to remove a couple of bolts from the back of the seat when I need to use the extra space.
