Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have a 2002 Rodeo V6 and the coolant recovery tank cap fits loosely and keeps popping off. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me? I replaced the cap with a new one and it does the same thing. It's under warranty but the dealer refuses to just look at it unless I schedule to leave it in for a full day for them to diagnose it and then leave it for another full day for them to service it.
