Just got back in from doing a little TLC to my truck, which included an oil change. Something that kinda gave me the heebies was when I pulled the oil filter, there wasn't the usual mess of oil I usually have to scramble to catch. Actually, not a drop of oil at all! I'm thinking this can't be good. Last time I changed the oil was about 4 months/200 miles ago, when I did the timing chain. I don't drive it much, just on small errands on the weekends. There weren't any idiot lights on, and the thing was running great. The oil that came out today looked like it had been circulating fine, it was nice and dark. I'm stumped...should I be worried?
