What is a Geniun Toyota oil filter anyways? They are actually just a brand name filter made for Toyota by one of the major filter companies and painted in pretty black color with Toyota part number stamped all over them. The only question is which brand. I'm not sure, but I'm sure somebody knows.

Even so, I just as much as a sucker as anyone else. I too drive down to the stealer and plop down the cash for an overpriced "Toyota" filter.
