That Birfield eliminator kit is not new. I have been running one for three years. Mine is a Redline kit, it is the same as the one Randy's sells, and RandyÆs bought the design from Redline!!!!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
so how do you like it over a birf? i guess thats a stupid question..what did that kit cost about?

I ran 36x12.50 TSLs on a set of the old-school ringed-longfields I bought WAAAAY back when he had the unconditional warranty for over a year and drove it like the axles were invincible. If the new Longs weren't more failure-prone than the originals made from OEM birfields, I wouldn't hesitate to tell you to run it like a retard.

I run 38.5x14.50 SXs on the same longs right now. I blew the front end up (diff, not axles or longs) last time I wheeled in Hot Springs, but the Longs have been awesome so far...
