I've got a strange coolant leak I just noticed today.
There are a few drops dripping off at the bell housing. With the engine running there doesn't seem to be an effect of the amount of leak either. It's only very minor with a small puddle on the ground after I park.
I checked the upper and lower radiator hoses. All is good.
The heather core hoses are fine. The heater core broke a few years back so I just have a hose looping around. No signs of a leak anywhere up on the top of the engine. I've looked all over and cannot find the source.
Radiator is maybe a month or two old.
Engine Oil looks fine. And there is no over heating.
Any Ideas?!?! ( I did a search already too )
Thanks,
Ryan

Could be leaking from the water pump. Check the black plastic timing belt covers in the front of the engine so see if there is any leaking on the bottom of the covers. If there is you will need to replace the water pump.

Had the same problem. turned out to be 2 leaking O-rings on the upper coolant pipe and heater return pipe located under the intake manifold. About a 4 hour gig if you take your time. Be sure to clean the area well with a wire brush and use some engine-safe RTV silicone around the O-rings. While you have the intake manifold off, you may want to replace the smaller coolant hoses in the area. I think there are 3. Dealer wanted nearly $700 to do this.
Best of luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Only one way to find a mystery coolant leak.
Go to one of the mass-marketer parts store..ie..Auto Zone, etc. and rent a cooling system pressure tester. Test is performed on a stone cold engine. The kit come with adapters that fit the radiator mouth. You hook the pump to the radiator and pump to say 15-17 lbs.
In a little bit you'll see coolant on the ground. You start chasing it in the opposite direction to the source.

For the record for anyone that happens to search for this issue later on.
It was infact the o-rings on the water pipe and heater core pipe that runs under the intake manifold.
