Sounds like the CS130 (late model GM) syndrome high amps small case the manufactures use a mini sized case/cooling system to fit in small spaces and then up the amp. output to run all the gadgets that people want. You may want to cough up the dough for a brand new unit. I believe the new unit will have to be purchased from a Mitsu dealer and may cost an arm and a leg and half the remaining arm.
