I'm going to have to disagree. I use mine all the time. The altimeter is very useful when looking at real estate and I need to know what the elevation is. Regardless of what it says it is still accurate when moving just not as accurate. Its very usefull if one feels tippy, a quick glance at the gauge and if its at 20 degrees you can relax.
