I hope to come to this. Are there any links to the area for the ride? or the campsite? What's the nearest town so I can look it up on a map?

The entrance to the National Forest is off Route 33, just west of Harrisonburg, VA. For those who have never gone to GWNF, the wheeling is easy to moderate with very few big rockgardens for the hardcore guys. Stock & moderately lifted trucks trucks should be able to make it through all the loop trails.

Just hop on I-81 somewhere and head north until you get to Harrisonburg, VA. The trails and national forest are about 15-20 minutes west of Harrisonburg on Rt.33. You still have a few months to find out how to get there!

I'll mark this on my calander, no weddings are going to stop me from wheeling anymore!

Count me in!

Ace, I just noticed you live in Fredericksburg! I live there too, well at least until Monday when I move somewhere around Tysons Corner!

I'd love to meet up with you sometime soon. I'm new to the area and haven't met any 4Runner brothers yet.

Hey Randy....somebody stole your new user name!

As for potable water, you'll probably want to bring drinking water, but....shower? Isn't that what Febreeze is for?

This would be my first FCR and it out to be a blast for sure. So is there any un-official logo for the ride ?? You know I gots to have some stickers made up for the group.

Let me know!
Ricochet

Stickers would be outstanding! Just let me know and I'll split the cost with you. Let's get something simple with "Fall Colors Ride '04" and "GWNF" on it. You're the pro. I'll leave it up to you.

LOL! Me neither Tom! Speaking of weddings...I scheduled the fall colors ride that particular weekend because I'll be coming home from my honeymoon the weekend before. I guess it'll be like a second honeymoon - except in the woods. Glad the future wife likes to camp! Now, if I can only get her to "watch her step" in the woods.

I'm assuming you work up in NOVA. Man, I feel bad for ya! I can't stand the traffic on Rt 3, let alone I-95. whew. I live off of Rt 1 passed Massaponax. The VA-TTORA guys come up all the time and we have get togethers at my house almost monthly. I'll let you know the next time we have one. Here's the link for the VA board: http://forum.ttora-va.com/
