I dont know, certainly not 4:1, thats too low for me, even with 35s, and the cost to get a custom one off job is in the 4-7K neighborhood, and I dont live their! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> 2:85 stops all stalling, and allows limitless crawl potential with an Auto and 35s, more with smaller tires obviously. 3 or 3.5 might be nice for a little more downhill compression braking on vertical surfaces, although like at the upcoming Colorado rally as an example the 2:85s take away the need for brakes alltogether.
