Sorry, my profile is fixed. A few questions have been thrown to me that I am unsure of myself. 1- Would the same Plate work for the front axle? (EricBeebs- Any idea?) 2- Would this plate also be OK for other generation 4runner/Pickups (I used on 1st Generation). Does anyone know if other years are the same? Thanks, Allan

I don't really know the answer but the 'spring width' is gonna determine the bolt hole location & the width of the 'plate'.
so the question still begs, Does the larger plate thickness & larger diameter u-bolts interfere with anything on the front toy axle or sas's???

I don't know if it would work on a front Toy axle since I don't have one, but I know it would work on the driver's side of a D44.
The dimensions that determine the bolt locations on the plate are the spring width and axle tube thickness. So since the springs are about 2.5" wide and the tube is 3" thick, the distance between the inside edges of the bolt holes have to be about or at least that...
So.... to figure out where to drill your holes, add the diameter of one bolt hole to the distance you need to clear. For the rear plates, one dimension is 2.5" + 11/16" = 3-5/16", the other one is 3" + 11/16" = 3-11/16". Definitely not rocket science.
So the 3-5/16" dimension should be the same front or rear, the other one just depends on your axle tube thickness.

To answer Toy4x's last question- ANY u-bolt flip is going to interfere with the stock push-pull steering. Simply putting in thicker springs will too.
With crossover (SAS), it doesn't really make any difference. I'm using the stock Chevy front plates and they're thicker than 1/2"...
