That is my schedule along I-5 pretty soon!

I am proud to announce I'll be adopting what looks to be a well taken care of 91 Trooper from one of the 4x4wire regulars!

I have been looking for another Trooper since I lost my last one (an 84) back in 2000. And I've been lucky enough to find one in Portland.

I'll be flying into Portland on the 20th of July and then be driving north to see my brother who lives up North of Everett, WA and then a couple days later, turning around to head home to central CA.

I'm asking for anyone who might be along the way who might be able to provide help, assistance or just humor in case I may need something! As most of you probably understand, I'm on a shoestring budget, and if I break down...sigh. Well you know I'm stuck. I won't be flying in with a tool box or tow truck either! Now I'm not saying I WILL have problems, but in fact this request is at the suggestion of the seller! He thought you guys (and possibly girls) might be a good source for help.

This is a great opportunity for me as I am in Search And Rescue and have been searching (pun intended) for a Trooper again to suit my 4x4 needs! I have promised the owner that I'd send on pics in the future of his baby doing it's "job". I'll post here too, if you'd like.

I've been a member of this site for a couple years, cause even tho I didn't have a Trooper, I wanted to be near those who did and keep up on the advances and innovations!

Forgive me for my giddyness in this post...

For 1, I was born and raised in Visalia, CA. Lived thier for 13 years. Now the other irony is im in Medford, OR which is right on your way down to Visalia!

Now the good/bad news. Id offer to have you stay at my place...But I will be in Washington July 22nd-28th for a major concert event I am volunteering as staff in. If thiers anything I can help you with though, let me know.

Another thing...Are you married, and if so was your wife ever a teacher? Did she ever teach at Mt View thier in Visalia?

Thanks for the reply! I live in Exeter, just East of Visalia. I've lived here since '94 (minus a couple years spent in North Carolina) and love the Sierra Nevada range...I can't wait to explore it with my coming 4x4 capabilities.

And no, I'm not married, not to anyone here or anywhere! Not that I remember anyway!

Thanks to all for the support. I'm glad to be "back in family" as it was put, but hope that I don't have to pay dues, or kiss the ring on some fat guy's hand! LOL...eww.

I work Downtown Seattle off of I-5 & live off of I-405 in Kirkland. If you've need use of them, I've a trunk full of tools at your disposal.

Who did you purchase the Trooper from? Curious to know...

Well I can't offer much more than a set of tools and an extra set of hands, maybe dinner one night to get you off the road a bit <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> But I will be towards the end of your trip in Stockton.
Well maybe when you get that beast home up and runnin good, then I can come down and do a little exploring to.
