So what's the story? Is the Troop in a new pair of hands? Oh, and Dana...my offer for road assistance is still up.

Hi all!

First of all, thank you to all of you who put your best foot...well, put your foot forward to offer my help without ever having met me. That speaks volumes in today's "what do you want from me" society. Thank you.

Second. Thanks to Joey and his lovely fiance for his help in pointing out all the rig's "foibles" for what? a hour or two? I wish I coulda hung out longer with you guys! Maybe some other time??

I am now home in Central CA. I am sorry to not have gotten to speak or meet with any of you while I was enroute. I would've loved to! However, I was drafting Yugos in hopes of not using more gas than neccessary! LOL

I had 5 extra gallons in a spare tank but was still sweating getting THAT close to home...yes, shallow pockets. smile

But anyway...aside from the fuel worries, and the oppressive friggin' heat (what was up with that??) I had a good ride home.

The Trooper is tucked away under the stars in my backyard awaiting a cleaning and some TLC tomorrow. Maybe a quick run to a logging road or two as well smile

I'll keep you all updated as to it's transition into Search And Rescue, and the mods that go along with that.

If any of you have suggestions, especially (Keith) those of you (Keith) that have intimate (Keith) knowledge of this particular Trooper (Keith) smile

I have exhaust questions regarding the 6cyl this has in it. and smog questions too...oh God, how I dread taking this poor unsuspecting Trooper to the Kalifornia Smog Station...they won't even be polite and use a rubber glove or lube...ewww smile

G'nite folks, time to rest these weary eyes.

Dana

ps, Tyler loves her new ride smile
