I've been asked a few times but I've neglected to say the name of the seller I'm buying this Trooper from to protect the "innocent" smile

But recent discussion with my client has allowed me the freedom to release this information. smile

Thanks Joe "Mancinator" TROOPOWER

He is the one who has a nice looking Landcruiser as his new project and he has posted several times in various disscussion groups about it.

I've volunteered to put his neglected and lonely Trooper to work as a Search and Rescue vehicle. It will be well looked after and depended upon by rescuers, K9s, and potential victims. I'm sure it will stand up to the test! And with it's mods, I'm sure it'll pass any test with flying colors.

Anyone who is in the Central or Northern California area and wants to join me in the Sierra Nevadas or runs to the dunes on the beach or has any runs coming up, feel free to contact me!

Thanks again Joe. And see ya in about a week!

Dana

So.....Congats to those involved....many happy rescues and trails ahead...

Dammit that's funny!

Looks like a photo I'll stage at some point when I visit North Carolina to see a Paramedic buddy of mine who owns a Pathfinder.

Old pics would be cool Joe. A fitting tribute that'll be followed up with more pics I'll contribute in the future.

I found a couple of pics in my archieves of Joey's rig - I've emailed them to you since I don't have any hosting site right now. Glad to know it'll be put to good use!

K. So, how's Keith anyway? Wait..um. Who's Keith? smile LOL.

Sorry, Imma bit punchy...just got in from training and my teammates had to pick a spot 2.5 hours away...gorgeous area, but annoying when you drive up to spend 1.5 hours training, and then turn around to head home. Ah well.

Keith is the guy who's Amigo is pictured above - aka Air Amigo. He's worked with Joey on the Trooper so he's very familiar with it. He's out in Stevenson which is about 30 mi East of Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area on the Washington side of the Columbia River. He's a paramedic & into SAR, too.

Nice Pic Matt! Thanks.

Who's Keith? Ouch! I guess I have been busy lately. I have to pop in here more.

I'm going to miss doing the mods to that rig, and helping out with maintance stuff. Just do me a favor, stay out of the mud before you wrench on it. I guess I'll have to find another rig to modify....sigh.

Tammy was right on, I've driven all over the northwest helping Joe modify that rig. I even went into the land of the cannucks. Now, where did I put that newspaper article? HA!

Once again, call me anywhere between Salem and Everett if you need a hand. Your welcome to crash here if you want too. You could even to a ride-a-lone with me at work if you want. I'm also on our Technical Rope Rescue team here, in addition to SAR.

AirAmigo is doorless and out front.

Dana-If you need help along the way, feel free to call me anytime. My cell is 5092610764.

Nice signature:
"EMT-I" EMT-Intermediate, my partner Russ is a EMT-I too. It's so much nicer than the EMT-B's I worked with as a paramedic in Tacoma, WA.
