I have always run the BFG's, I think they are a good value tire, swithched to Yokohamas and blew 3 out of 4 in 3 months flat. They were crap. Went back to BFG Land terrains and got better traction than the Yokocrappas with a smaller width. There are better tires than BFG's but they always have performed well for me and can take a beating. As for sound...WHAT THE HELL YOU DOING DRIVING ON PAVEMENT? lol
