Hey everyone...
I just bought myself some 33' BF goodrich mud terrain tires. I was wandering if anyone has personal experience with them on/offroad. Do they wine a lot on the road? Grip well on multiple surfaces? Wear fast or slow? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

I have always run the BFG's, I think they are a good value tire, swithched to Yokohamas and blew 3 out of 4 in 3 months flat. They were crap. Went back to BFG Land terrains and got better traction than the Yokocrappas with a smaller width. There are better tires than BFG's but they always have performed well for me and can take a beating. As for sound...WHAT THE HELL YOU DOING DRIVING ON PAVEMENT? lol

you can't go wrong with bfg. m/t and a/t. they last longer than most. they're good at everything. some other tires are better at some things but bfg is the best all around.

From personal experience, I'd recommend religiously rotating the BFG MT's every 3000 miles to extend mileage per set, and reduce vibration at highway speeds. Overall, BFG MT's are a superior choice for a wide variety of trail and highway applications.

I am running 33x12.50x15's on my CJ7. have used them for years with no problems. been through the rubicon with them and numerous other off road trips. they are slightly noisy in an open Jeep, but not unbearable. I only run 22 to 24 PSI due to the lightweight of the Jeep. I don't even bother to air them down off road. also, I run them on 8" wheels to help protect the wheels from rock damage. have not had a rock touch the wheels yet.
IMHO you made an excellent choice.

IMHO BFG is a great tire. Traction-great Cost-good Noise-... its a mtr Quality (out of round, flaws etc.)- great Mileage- good-great.

I have had 35" BFG AT on a Blazer and awesome on any surface.. 'cept snot mud.. but it not a mudder. Lasted over 65k and had 1/8" or more tread left.

Had 33" BFG MT on a Nissan p/u. Great on all but sand- but thats what mickey baha belteds are for. 40+k on them and still had 1/4 of tread left.

Quality is main thing... no rebalances 'cept once. Very true tire. Wish I could say same about my current dounuts.

All in all good choice man

i love BF Goodrich mud terrain, i have around 11,000 miles on them and there are still wearing great, grip very well in many different surfaces, deep snow, mud, water, pavement everything. i would defently buy them again once these wear out.

I'm running 35x12.5-10 BFGMT's on my 1986 CJ7. There great! I did a lot of comparisons between all different tires and the noise factor. I think I made a great choice, and they do not wear no where near as bad as a friend of mine's pro-comps . I can carry on a conversation in the jeep with the top down at 60mph without yelling at the passinger. Best Regards, Keith
