AOR flip kit did not fit my 7 leaf waggies at all. Springs too wide.I widend all 8 holes 1/4 (pain in butt) only to find out u bolt where too short, and I have no blocks or shims. They said they would send longer ones 5 weeks ago. $95 lost.I would say, before you purchase, confirm they will fit what you have. Or just make some. EDIT: AOR did send some longer u bolts no questions asked, and were very nice, although busy. [ March 07, 2003, 12:00 PM: Message edited by: SeanD ]

a buddy of mine just did his front with the waggies and the springs aren't that much wider..just take a grinder to the sides of the springs where the ubolts will be..he hasn't had any problems at all with doing his that way

If you have hy-steer, I would recommend Ford rear U-bolts from '88 F150s and up. You can pick up a set at a local wrecker for $20 (I did at least). The grinding thing also works. Good Luck

Sky mfg--got mine there and they work fine, i asked sky if they'd work with heep springs (waggies or 44044s') and he said they drill them for the wider springs figuring they'll work for both toy & heep springs...

Do it right. Napa can get you any size u-bolt you need. Napa is the best place to score u-bolts that I know of. Then just buy one of the readily available plates on the market or like Clay said, get the Sky stuff. I have ordered from Sky and they have great service and great products...

I will add just a couple of comments here. First, I believe that the distance between the holes in the u-bolt plate are the issue here, not the u-bolts themselves. If something doesn't fit, I'd suggest modifying the plate, NOT the springs. You do not want to weaken your springs, plus it is a giant PITA to try and grind through spring steel.
Also, it is not advised to reuse old u-bolts as they have some "stretch" in the threads that keep them torqued down the first time they are used. I am not saying that no one reuses their old u-bolts, just that it is not advised. New ones aren't that expensive anyway.
It sounds like you can contact Sky or Rockstomper and get exactly what you need though, just let the vendor know what you are planning to do, it is not that uncommon a swap.
