hth with the bumper.

yes, my hitch brackets were modified for a 2" BL and sits nice and tight under the bumper. they were cut and welded by a pro. it is still 4sale. i get pretty good rates with fedex ground. can i ship to a business address? that makes it cheaper. i will get you rates tonight after i weigh it.

the drive train lift...what's that all about? would does that help out exactly and how hard to instal?
again, thanks all...

not too hard to install. get motor mount lift from roger brown. shifters come back where they belong. radiator drop gets removed. auto trans shifter piece comes out. then you can either get a tcase lift from roger or a whole crossmember from bud. then you will have to move the carrier bearing up like brew is doing. i think that is all there is.

I did not raise my hitch when I did the body lift and I am glad I kept it the orginal way. It is the first thing to hit the ground when I am wheeling and therfore it protects the spare tire and bumper from getting damaged. I will be fabbing up a new rear bumper soon and will post when its ready.

the goal of all of this is to have more clearance, not the same clearance.

I understand the goal of the body lift, however, if I lifted my hitch for more clearance then there is a good chance I would rip the sidewall of my spare tire. Once I get my rear bumper made and install a swing-away rear tire carrier (like on jeeps), then I wont need the huge spare underneath and I can raise my hitch without worry
