Getting the Wheeling Fever
Anyone know off hand what width these wheels are?

I just recently had some 31X10.5 BFG AT's mounted on them and the edges of the tires aren't sitting flush on the ground at 30psi. I was bouncing around the idea of getting some 15X7 alloys(if they are wider than what I have). Also, I have a friend here in town that works at 4Wheel Parts and he could get me the black mods for really cheap but says I might have backspacing issues. Any tips?, I've done some searches on this topic but didn't readily find it. Thanks, Jeff

Stock wheels on the '95 and earlier trucks are either 15x6 or 15x7, pull one off and look on the inside of the rim, it'll usually be stamped with something like "15x6 JJ". I think most/all of the steel wheels are 6" wide, at least I've never seen a 7" stock steel rim.

Yep, I'm pretty sure those are 6" wide. I'm almost positive that the stock steel wheels on my '90 4Runner were 7" wide 4Crawler. They were the SR5 steel wheels with the 31x10.50 tire package.

Great, I was hoping they were 6"ers as I am thinking of getting these which are 7" and will fit the 31X10.5's better.

Am looking at Super Swampers 34 x 10.5 x 15 LTB.
Would these work O.K. on stock rims or should I be looking for a tire / wheel package?
I have stock 1990 style rims on my '86 presently and like the look. I d'ont care for chrome black or alu rims. Like painted gey look best.
Thanks
