Such is the highly deceptive nature of mud! We've all been victimised.
Once, I sunk the driver side of my Monty into some green, brown, smelly gunk. The rear passenger tire was still on relatively firm ground, but the locker nevertheless couldn't pull me out. That was when I was still running worn, small, generally lame street tires. I tend to think I would have gotten through if I'd been turning the Scorps.
