Getting the Wheeling Fever

Hey all,
I need some help with my truck. I just recently did a tune-up on my truck (plugs, cap, and rotor). Upon inspection of the plugs, it appears as if the truck is running a bit on lean side. What can I do to correct this? My sig has the details on my truck.
Thanks, David

"Mods: K&N Filtercharger, LC Eng. Header + Full Exhaust "
lean or rich conditions usually can be traced to the O2 sensor. Where is your O2 sensor mounted in the newer exhaust system, and is it sitting down in the pipe like it was with the stock exhuast or does it mount in one of them bungs that are raised up out of the exhuast stream?
Other than that, tune it to spec. Gap the plugs to .031, ignition timing at 5*BTDC and warm idle speed set to the underhood stickers suggestions. If you arent getting a stored code in the ECU your lean condition isnt as serious as it would seem. Have you tried pulling the codes yet?

While Im no 22R-E Guru, I have played one on TV.
Shoulda included that disclaimer in my first post....sorry.
As far as that AFM adjustment goes, I need to have a talk with Harry about it still being up. If ya want to try it be my guest but speaking from experience let me tell you...its not worth risking a new engine over. Myself and another member both tinkered with our air metering systems and the results were very catastrophic. Not to mention, the ECU will learn the new parameters and compensate for the adjustment in time...if the rings dont get it first.

~Darin Ya, may have been coincidence but I adjusted my AFM hoping to get an extra 100hp and ended up blowing a HG. Changed out the HG and set AFM back to stock. Just a couple warnings for ya
