This was my very first 87 Raider. The motor went bad and it sat in the yard for about a year. I replaced it with an 89 V6. ( That I rolled within three months ) One day I bought a body saw and needed something to test it on. So I turned the Raider into a J-top. Then I started looking at the S10 pickup in the yard that had a camper. I kept looking at it and wondering if it would fit on the Raider. So into the garage it went. With a little more cutting and some wood and tin work it fit right on.

Once I had it on, I figured it would be better if it was a walk thru. So I cut the Raider top out all the way to the windshield.

Then I made a counter with a sink and stove. Then built some overhead cupboards and added a Colemen electric cooler. Across from the cooking area there are four cushions that will make into a 7' bed from the back door to the windshield.

I have been neglecting this project for the last year because of this site. ( I got hooked on building turbo Raiders) Now it is time to Turbo up the Campraider.
