The kit that I used came with a textured roler. All you did was pour the "paint" into a tray and roll it on thare like u would if you were painting a wall. The roller is what gives it that sandpaper feel. You can experiemtn with diferent textures by how many times you go over an area etc. Do two coats and then see if u are happy with it.
