So, can someone be so kind and give a short review of where we stand on the front LSD, please...

Hi Maraguez,

From the research and measurements, it looks like the 94+ Miata Torsen T1 or T2, RX7 non-turbo clutch type LSD and the RX7 non-turbo viscous LSD differentials will fit our Sportage with only a possable change of one snap ring clip. The first choice would be the Torsen T1 with 3:1 bias (which I have). The Torsen T2 has ~2:1 or 2.5:1 bias. The clutch type have a fixed amount of bias, not a ratio so would cause more understeer. The Viscous is more speed sensitive rather than torque sensitive so would be the worst choice for slow speed off-roading.

Since my Sporty is my daily driver and my wife has been ill, it will probably be a few weeks before I can put the Torsen in.
