You will only need:

Item 11 0K048 27200A DIFF.ASSY $767.80 msrp

(again, remember this is probably the wrong part number. The correct part number should be in the dealerships parts book)

You should be able to get it for under $500 from the parts department.

You will re-use the old front ring gear.

You will NOT need:

Item 5 0K01D 27100A GEAR ASSY-DIFFERENTIAL


If you don't want to use a new factory LSD, you have several other possabilities:

1: Eaton LSD for 93 thru 97 Sportage.

2. Miata Torsen LSD 94 or newer.

3. RX& NON-turbo clutch type LSD.

4. RX-7 NON-turbo Viscous type LSD.

5. Probably also KAAZ racing LSD for the Miata $$$$$$

6. Junk yard 97 or older Sportage LSD.


I just talked to Dave Scott. He will try to put his 96 rear LSD into his front housing this weekend.
