If you're not set on buying from this guy consider http://www.eurotruck-importers.com/ in Flowery Branch, Georgia. I had the excellent opportunity to drive an early Mog and a $$$ mid-80's U-Series (complete with air split 8-speed and air brakes). I also drove a Pinzgauer. All were "on the street" drives and I found the Pinz to be the easiest to drive of the bunch <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> but they are IFS/IRS and not ultra-flexy, they do have f/r diff. locks though and an air-cooled four banger. The 404 was crude at best on the road and not at all comfortable (nor fast as mentioned above). However, it is SUPER cool! I don't think I would want any part of a long distance drive (1000+ miles)in a stock soft top but I suppose you could outfit one with better seats, sound proofing, etc and make a good rig.
