Need a Spot
im looking for about a foot of 3.5" x 1/4" square tubing. I have already called a bunch of fabricators and steel shops around Houston and no luck. Supposedly this is a not very common size (3.5" sq.) any suggestions on where to look. this is for spring hangers on the rear of my Toyota (chevys) Thanks -Corey

There's got to be some good industrial scrap yards around Houston somewhere...

Being a fabricator/builder, probably worth your time to find one of these... There can be some good cheap pickin's.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

Ask around locally, maybe somebody can give you a recommendation on a good hunting ground..

www.metalsdepot.com carries some. Don't know how there prices/shipping compare to what you might find at a local scrap, but...

I ran this search: click me. Hope those aren't a repeat for you. I'd be interested to know what the price of steel is in that region and compare it to PHX.
