I wouldn't worry about the embarrasment part - I just went back and re-read the entire thread from the beginning and found several things I said that were incorrect. Heck, the nice thing about it is that you challenged me enough for me to give myself a refresher course that I found very -well - refreshing. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, my day was good - I got Sears to replace my 2 month old 3/8" drive torque wrench (the dial became unreadable) with a new one. No questions asked... well, maybe a few. I walked in, put the wrench on the counter with the receipt and said "I've got a problem with this wrench and hope you can help". She got sorta defensive and started off by saying "We don't calibrate those here." So instead of telling her the real problem, I started explaining why it wasn't accurate with an extension...... the poor woman's eyes sorta glazed over and finally she said... "Mister, why don't you just go on over to the rack and pick out another one." <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
