I can't seem to find the dash illumination wire in the diagrams. The ARB switches need to be tied into the lighting portion of the loom. The blue&white wire seems to be the most common one going to the majority of the plugs, this is not the case in any of the diagrams that I have found.

The dash illumination is shown on page 81 of the electrical manual. It's the red/green wire to the gage cluster.

But are you looking to tie in before or after the dimmer control? If before the dimmer control it's the blue/yellow wire shown on page 117 of the electrical manual.

i was going to ask the dimmer question too, but i figured it would prolly be best to have it always lit while driving, or always have the capability to be lit while driving, even during the day, while the headlights and corner markers are off- meaning, it'd have to be wired to the few lights on the dash that do not go through that switch. just my opinion.

Kool deal, I want them to have the dimmer option. Bright blue lights in your face at night might prove to be annoying at times. The turn off option when the lights are off also would be preferable. Thanks Guys

When the lockers are ingauged = it has a seperate light in the switch. The illum lamp hook up is so ya can find the switch at night. Two different bulbs in each switch. 3 switches = when lights are on it has a small line lamp, 1st pic. when compressor - front locker - rear locker = what ever is on,the big square light is alluminated. 2nd pic. So with the illumination after the dimmer I will be able to control the amount of blue light glare I get in my face. Very kool set up I think, You?

However I might be wrong about the on lamp being controled by the dimmer, I am sure about the line lamp being able to be controled by it. Will know more once all back together.

The Main hot wire to the compressor they want to a keyed hot, I would rather have it going to an allways hot. Any suggestions on where to tap in? Underdash preferably.

Reason for this = ability to fill the air tank without turning on the key.

how much power does the compressor draw? battery gonna be ok without the alternator during airing up the tank?

run it to the battery.

there is an always hot wire in the fuse box, i just don't remember which it is. i ran my old 10-disk changer on it, but it screwed with some other things in the cab, so i took it out and sold it.

Have not checked on the draw of the ARB compressor. With a 2 gal air tank it should fill fast. I am runnig a Optima battery.

I will search for a good underdash hot for it. Just dont like alot of wires going to the batt for corrosion reasons, more things to go wrong that way.
