Actually, if you compare the rodeos drum brakes to like an s-10 blazer, which has the same axle, the rodeo has bigger brakes. The rodeo has 10" x 2" shoes in the rear, while the blazer has 9" i believe. But then again, the blazer isnt quite as heavy as the rodeo either. But yeah, its a GM 10 bolt that has the lowest set of gears possible for it. But you can get a few different lockers. Just have to make sure you get one for an s-10 or camaro with the 7.5/7.625 ring gear. The 10 bolts in the full size trucks used larger ring gears and are quite a bit different than out 10 bolt. HTH
