Ok what about just disconnecting the air filter box from the piece that goes over the radiator?? Would this not have the same effect as removing it and replacing it with a piece of pipe? Sorry for my lack of knowledge if this is a bad idea.

Also has anyone ever tried to cur holes in the hood where the air intake is at to get more air. I would imagine it should have a screen over it to keep the bugs and big pieces out. But that should have a semi ram-air effect right??
