My friend just put a hood intake on his Sportage. Works well and looks good. It doesn't look like a red-neck fab job. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> The way his dad designed it, it has screens to keep out bugs, etc., and a few other things that allow the engine to continue to get air if the intake gets clogged with mud. I'm about to do the same.
