That '01 model sure looks different on the inside from mine (it's got all that fancy plastic stuff on it). Of course, that one's not covered in mud and dirt and junk like mine always is.

I think I'm still going to go with the hood scoop. I've already thought of the problem with water going up and over the hood. I've designed a way around that. I'll have to see how it turns out. My design's not meant to be blingerific, though. I'm going for a sort of "post-apocalyptic" look (very utilitarian, desert camo, no chrome anything, only black hardware, and lots of lights... and an RPG on top <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />). In other words, it's supposed to be very obvious that an intake is there.
