Searched here and on <img border="0" alt="[Pirate]" title="" src="graemlins/bppirate.gif" /> , but didn't find specific answers. I got 2" recessed led's for the new winch bumper and , of course, the stock flasher relay doesn't get along with them. As I understand I have 2 options.
1)wire resistors in parallel w/ the led's to create a bit more draw on the relay. problem- I have no idea which resistors I would need.
2)Get a relay compatible with led's. One with the same connectors as stock would be preferred. "heavy-duty" realays were referred to by some, but that's not very specific. Also mentioned were electronic as opposed to mechanical(bi-metal) flasher relays which don't care what the current draw is, and again a toyota compatible unit would be preferred.
