that looks great dude!!! it looks realy strong too. how thick is the plate?...again it looks great!

Thanks bud. All the mounting stuff is 3/8" thick in several different widths(2", 3" and 4"). You may have noticed I doubled up on the shackle mount points so that piece is 3/4" thick! Overkill? Maybe, Will it break? No way. The treadplate is 1/8", or actually I think they called it 11 gauge, IIRC.

Taking into account the number of stickers and the new bumper, shouldn't you consider buying some new springs ?

Nice work, Dave.
Definitely different (which part of the Isuzu GENERAL STATUTES, º 14-453)

AAAAA SHUDDUP!! That chunk-o-junk ARB(that some knucklehead sold me) in the front offsets the extra weight of the bumper ...LOL Actually I have some spare springs that I intend on swapping over eventually. Not because of the bumper/stickers, but because of 250,000+ miles and way too much abuse wheeling.

Got all the bugs worked out of that 4.3 yet?

I'm focusing on the amount of *home work* I neglected during the buildup.

...taking baby steps right now.
Still doing radiator research, leaking rear pinion, tran/xfer case seal, dry rotted fuel line.
It runs, but sometimes I miss the 4banger.

Good to hear the ARB is getting some road miles

That is awesome. And the best thing is YOU made it - there isn't another one like it.

I am probably going to get someone to build front and rear bumpers for my rig, as I want something a bit different than the ARB and Calmini.

Great job!!!

nice!!
makes the troop look tougher compliments the brick-on-wheels lines very well!!
good and stout too
how far does it jut out, would have trouble mounting a larger spare if it came down to the bumper?
you should weld on a cb antenna tabis the reciever hitch too high?
also this gives you a chance to tuck the exhaust up a little higher maybe weld up a heavy-duty hanger for the exhaust

ooh ooh and look into incorporating a ghigh lift mount into it too!!!!

i see a lot of potential in that there bumper davey boy!!!
