nice!!
makes the troop look tougher compliments the brick-on-wheels lines..

Well thanks again for all the words of approval...but I still think it's sorta ugly.

how far does it jut out, would have trouble mounting a larger spare if it came down to the bumper?

It's only 3" across the top so it sticks out slightly less than the stock bumper. Mounted at about the same level so spare fitment would be no more problem than with the stock bumper. I have a 32" spare on there right now with no problem. I think a 33 would fit but a 35 would prolly need a spacer. Yeah the receiver is a lot higher than my old hitch was but I'll just buy a drop-down hitch to get it down where I need it. Don't really use it too often to pull anything anyway.

you should weld on a cb antenna tab is the reciever hitch too high? ......look into incorporating a high lift mount into it too!!!!

i see a lot of potential in that there bumper davey boy!!!

I thought about the antenna deal but I really like my antenna to stick up slightly higher than the roofline(for better reception). I don't want to put a 6 foot antenna on it so I think I'll leave it where I have it(spare tire rack). I DO plan on adding a hi-lift mount in the future, if I can figure out a real good and secure way to do it. The length of the stupid thing makes it a bit difficult to find a real good place to mount it.

I like it. I think the you used a little too much of the tread plate. Maybe use it on top, so it is real tread, but i like it. Kudos to you.
