My 95.5 Rodeo also prefers thicker oil to keep the tick away. I just changed my oil this weekend to chevron delo 15w40. It has high detergent levels since it is rated for both diesel and gas engines. The engine is running smooth and quiet so far and with slightly better oil pressure. I also went with the purolater premium plus filter to get the balance btw better flow and pretty good filtering.
