I have been using Red Line 10-30 since 30K. I have almost 90K at this time. Ticking rarely occurs and disapears quickly at startup. My oil analysis shows wear numbers in single digit parts per million with an OCI of 7500 mi. I burn about a 1/3 to 1/2 QT every 4K mi.
My engine is however a 3.5L
