Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Ok so my husband usaully is the one who post for help but he is at work so I will try to describe our problem and hopefully someone can help.. We have a 1987 swb Montero. It's been having some issues with the way it runs. When trying to start it, it sounds like it's not getting enough gas. When it finally gets started it will run but it feels like it is bogged down until it gets around 3rd gear. It's been doing this for a few days then monday we stopped somewhere and it wouldnt start. We ended up putting in a new fuel filter, cleaning the carb, putting some grease lighting in the gas and then putting a full take in. It seemed to work for a day but today while driving to work it just died. After is sat for a little while it started right up. The carb was just rebuilt 3 years ago. Any suggestions?? Fuel pump maybe?
