My truck roof (95 Pewter Pearl) has been getting pretty ugly, the clearcoat and paint is going away. The hood is starting to do the same, but not nearly as bad. I took it to a couple of reputable body shops, with estimates between $800 and $1100 to fix both. So I went down to Checker auto and grabbed a couple of cans of T408 Pewter. It's close, but not an exact match. It looks OK on the roof, but I'll probably get the hood done professionally.

After (getting some cloud cover)

I guess it came out alright for $11, even Earl Sheib couldn't beat that price... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
