Boy, your hood release looks almost new! (bright zinc)

Never replaced, must be this dry AZ weather preserving it...

That really is one nice truck you have .. nice front-end pic! Post a few more if you get a chance.. I'd like to see the undercarriage.. and what a T looks like w/ no surface rust there.. I'm battling that constantly over here in the rust belt; I wouldn't say I'm winning the war, but preventative maintenance is a must here in RI.

I lived out in AZ, went to college at NAU, Flagstaff back in early '90s; and most recently lived in Tucson (1999). Nice weather out there.. dry, no salt (even up in snowy Flag)... never had to worry about rust creeping up on your car/truck. What's the weather like up in Lakeside .. I never made it up there myself..

Ya, and that sun will bleach the hell out of your paint.. good job with the roof.. and for 11 bucks, can't go wrong. Take it easy..

Thanks Dave. Lakeside is about the same as Flag (7200' elev) just not as busy. We get road salt every once in a while, they break it out every time there's a bad accident, usually caused by a 'flat-lander' from warmer areas.

I'll play too. My lenses were so cloudy you could not see any detail inside the housing. They weren't just hazy, they were yellow. Driving at night was horrible. SO I too had thought about buying new lenses, then I decided to go outside and mess with mine for awhile.

All I did was wax them, and they are crystal clear now and look like new. 20 minutes is all it took.

Hi Chris, that worked for me too, but not as well as yours. I've cleaned them up a couple of times, looks like mine was more than a front surface problem. Now I need a pair of those Hellas...

Almost identical to mine, I see... undercarriage is a little nicer I must admit! Nice!

Haven't gotten to the headlights yet. Truck is pretty much stock still, Cripes I still have the original shocks and steering stabilizer. I plan on doing those in the near future.. the stablizer links were done last week. I'm a little limited on the $$, bought a house last Sept and it needed some (and still does) attention. Matter of fact, here's my truck just yesterday with a temporary makeshift "stakebody" .. of course the darn thing has been removed already!

Hey are those toyota rims you're running on your T or are they aftermarket?

They are from a 95 Land Cruiser - 16x8. Got them from a friend who bought a 2 wheel drive T. They gave him these because one of his rims was bent, but the tires rubbed the first time he put anything in the bed, so he traded me for my stock 15s...
