like bob said. i also recomend 4.3 swap way more versital and as for drivetrain leave your mits. rear and put in toy front.all you need then is to swap the tcase with a full size chevy and your output is on the right side. front diff is now mocked in and the rear is swapped in, now for the fussy stuff like brake cables and hoses etc, then onto the eng/trans/tcase. but on the lighter side i have all the front end parts and rear diff for sale

the front spring hanger is Ford F250 hangers welded to a receiver hitch cut to yota spring width, the front springs are yota 2wd rears, i am going to shorten the overload retainer to limit the pinion tip at full spring extension, the rear diff was bolt in just have to plumb the rear brake hose, then devise a park brake cable. Hmm maybe so kinda t/case mounted unit?? any ideas?

got the motor and trans out this afternoon, not much else cept plasma cut the engine mounts off.

ya i have a couple, the axles have 4.37 gears and are from a 80 4x4 and the engine,trans,t case are from an 84 4x4 with 5 spd

got the engine, trans, t/ case in yesterday, got the motor mounts tacked in (yota and Monero share frame width at engine mount area) tried to get nore done but work gets in the way

I've never really thought about a SAS as 1) I'm still newer to wheeling, and 2) I've generally had a Mitsu purist mind set. But the more you all are doing this... Keep up the good work guys!

started the basic wiring, and got it to fire today, anyone have wiring schematic for the Mitsu alternator?
