1st those arent drums it is surface rust on the rotors
2nd the montero motor had 200,000
3rd 2.6 may be torquey but weighs a ton
4th as for front end weight i cut it down( see #3) and the 84/85 front end just has a longer gusset( i have that diff too) as for weight total they cant weigh much more than a sidekick and they run a 1.6lt
5th ALL toyota running gear, geared 4.37 in now and more

6th not a rock crawler but will be climbing mountain trails
7th since when is a yota motor "not good"

9th the SAS is because IFS sucked ass off camber
10th i will probably upgrade the alt later but didnt want to rewire for yota alt/reg type
11th thanks for all the comments, sure some may be valid but i have it under control for West coast type of wheeling (p.s.) this WILL improve the rig not just "something to do"
