I'm sorry to hear you had problems, but glad it worked out. The pinion stem / yoke issue is the first I ever heard of that. That is a great nugget of info! A lot of people have swapped regeared e-locked diffs into the old axles and I haven't seen any reports of that issue. I wonder if Toyota changed the stem for your model year?
